The Memorial Day Picnic and Season Preview is BACK, and so is our chance for the entire Academy family to celebrate the kick-off of the 2022 summer season!

Parents, Alumni, Volunteers, Friends and Fans will enjoy a picnic lunch featuring hot dogs, beans, salad and dessert.  Come and see The Academy Drum and Bugle Corps debut their 2022 musical production and enjoy the family barbeque as the we prepare to launch on our summer training schedules.  Guests will also be treated to an encore performance from members of The Acaemy Winter Youth Guard!
ONE PERFORMANCE ONLY is programmed this year, and held in the auditorium of Estrella Foothills High School.  Ensure your best listening and viewing experience by purchasing your tickets in advance for one of two tiers of seating: Center Section Reserved Seats $15 ea., and Outer General Admission seats $10 ea.

Lunch is FREE with your ticket purchase.  This annual event is THE BEST way to enjoy your Memorial Day in Arizona!
General Admission Tickets ($10) are also available for purchase at the door which includes the free lunch and non-reserved auditorium seating around the perimeter section at a first come, first served basis.

Memorial Day Event FAQ’s

Covid Mitigation –  As there has been a spike in the infection rate in recent weeks, we kindly request that for the consideration of the performers and audience that all guests wear a mask during the indoor performance in the auditorium.  Our priority is to assure that all of our members will be able to start our season without any delay in being able to participate.  Thank you very much for your understanding.

What are my parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking for the event is free.  Parking lots on the north side of campus are close to the auditorium and center of campus, where food will be served.

What can I bring into the event?
Bottled water is allowed inside the performance.  Please no food or drink inside the auditorium. 

What’s the refund policy?
No refunds.  

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, all purchases are confirmed with your printed tickets.  Upon arriving, you will present your ticket and be handed a wristband, which will give you access to your meal and the performance.   For reserved seating, keep your printed ticket with you as proof of the seat you have reserved. 

(General Admission tickets are available for pre-purchase and at the door on the day of the event. General Admission seating is first come, first served).
