Apr 1, 2008 - Recent coverage from the West Power Regional
Academy from Tempe, AZ (second place- 87.0) performed their abstract show "Into the Mist". Dressed in lime green leotards, they strongly stood out from the black floor. Using light fabric to convey an image of wafting through the mist, they communicated small nuances with their movement. A strong moment was a knockout purple flag feature that hit about every angle in color guard.

The Academy Winterguard competed in their second WGI Regional this weekend improving their competitive score with an 83.5. To see all of the guard scores Click here. Congratulations to all of the Arizona groups that competed last weekend. The next opportunity to see both the Winter Youth Guard and the Independent Open Guard will be this Saturday, March 15 at the Mesquite Winter Guard show. Feb 4, 2008 - Birdies for Charity reach $8,350
