2008 is a big year for The Academy. Those who attended the informational Open House on December 2nd know that the DCI Tour will require the corps to travel over 10,000 miles in 37 days in 2008. The biggest news is the corps will be on the road for the last 30 days of the season, the longest stretch in the corps history.

This is big news for returning members as they are used to rehearsing in the 110 degree heat in the late summer months while waiting to jump back on the tour as it comes through the region.

20 competitions outside of championships week is a big jump from their 13 competitive appearances last year. With this being their second year in World Class division and a successful first weekend of auditions, there is much anticipation for what the corps will be doing in 2008.

The Academy 2008 Tour will include appearances in:
Walnut, CA (June 28)
Riverside, CA (June 29)
Glendale, AZ (July 2)
San Diego, CA (July 3)
